This wonderful Simpson knife is 1 7/8” by 3 ¾” and was found in Lafayette Co., FL. I bought this from Len Weidner some 18 years ago. Thinning flakes off the base on both sides. Nearly as thin as a potato chip yet flaked on both sides. $1,200. |

This wholly translucent drill is just over 4” and was found at Beaver Dam Creek in Burke Co., GA, by Alan Marshall. It is a patinated gold Brier Creek agate that when held to a light is just stunning. Over 4". $850. |

This Suwannee of coastal plain chert is 3 ¼” and was found in Lafayette Co., FL. I purchased it from Len Weidner more than 15 years ago. Weidner had said that it had been in the Henry McNeill collection. Slightly asymmetrical because the edge near the point was resharpened in ancient times. One old, minor chip off an ear is also noted. $850. |
